Coronavirus Update

We are all living in very uncertain, unsettling and unpredictable times now. Like you, I am monitoring and reacting to Government advice regarding coronavirus. However, I also appreciate the added worries and concerns the COVID-19 virus has brought. If you feel that counselling, for whatever reason, might be beneficial to you at the moment, I am offering counselling and support via skype or telephone. Please contact me for more information.

SUPPORT AND ADVICE
How can I support you?

In the past, counselling was seen primarily as face-to-face sessions with a counsellor and client. However, the growth of digital technology has allowed counselling to develop and change how we view and access therapy.
The importance of this change has been evident during the Covid pandemic. We are all living in very uncertain, unsettling, and unpredictable times. Not only with the ever present worry about Covid-19 itself, but also the effects of lockdowns, financial struggles, job losses, domestic abuse etc. This has understandably led to an increase of people needing support. Online counselling has enabled me to reach out across the whole of the UK.

Together we can move forward.

You may feel embarrassed, unable or unwilling to share your worries, concerns or issues with your friends and family. I can provide support, confidentiality and understanding to enable you to transform  your difficulties, issues and concerns into positivity and a new way forward.

What do I do?

I passionately believe that counselling should be available to all. What makes my online counselling service so accessible is the ability to be flexible, and to fit in with your busy lives.

I am a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and I adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

There are many reasons why online counselling can overcome barriers.

You may be recently bereaved and need the comfort of your own home to talk about your loss:

Getting out and about may be difficult due to medical or physical conditions:

Perhaps you have transport problems, or live in rural or remote areas?

As parents of young children, you may have juggle your hours to fit in with school, pre-school etc or have to rely on babysitters:

As a couple, especially a working couple, there might be limitations on when you are both available?

Perhaps you work long hours (for example farming) or shift work:
